Babana Aboriginal is based in and around the inner City of Sydney, Australia. We run programs and deliver services to our local community and our mob who live further afield. From suicide prevention and mental health to employment, education and primary health awareness, we do all we can to ensure our people are empowered and supported wherever they may be. Having started as a men's group nerly two decades ago we also work with a cross of families and communities, our men, women and children.

Babana Aboriginal runs monthly men's groups and yarning circles with the aim of creating a safe space to talk about life, challenges, barriers, how to overcome them and more ...

Babana Aboriginal runs a series of annual awareness days, develops resources such as "how to have a yarn and partners with others in the community to enable our people to live long and healthy lives

[ Primary Health ]

 

Babana Aboriginal works with a range of health providers on issues ranging from heart health, diabetes, eye-care and nutrition. We do this through health promotion, creating awareness and thorugh referral services

We work with a cross section of partners and organisations when it comes to finding our mob jobs and employment opportunities. We do this through understanding what our people could be doing, career planning and mentoring ....
